This is a vintage Sabre surf rod that is great for fishing the surf, the pier and from the jetties. You can use 15 to 25 pound test line on a Penn 5500S to Penn 7500SS size reel. A good set up for fishing for Halibut, Roosterfish and Shark or for any other fish that gets in your way.
