This is an excellent stand-up rod for fishing 15 to 25 pound test line. A great rod for tuna, yellowtail, wahoo and bottom fishing. A Penn Jigmaster 500 or 501 size reel would match this fishing rod perfectly. This is a very good rod for casting for tuna, yellowtail and wahoo or for shallow water bottom fishing for grouper and cod.
