This is a Mr. Gasket 5812 Ultra-Seal intake gaskets set that includes the rectangular intake manifold gaskets, the gaskets for the front and rear China rails and the distributor gasket.
The Mr. Gasket 5812 Ultra-Seal Intake Gasket is a set of intake manifold gaskets designed to fit Chevrolet Small-Block V8 engines (Gen I) across many years and applications. It isn’t for a specific “modern” car engine — it’s sized for a range of small-block Chevy engines with rectangular ports and medium-modified port spacing including 262ci, 265ci, 283ci, 305ci, 327ci, s350ci and 400ci. These are all Gen I small-block Chevrolet V8s produced roughly from 1955 through 1991.
It’s commonly used when replacing or reassembling intake manifolds on classic L-block Chevy engines like 283, 327, 350 and 400 in trucks and cars.
It’s a rectangular-port intake gasket (port dimensions approximately 1.31″ X 2.19″) — this size matches many older small-block manifolds and aftermarket intakes.
NOT FOR BIG-BLOCK CHEVY ENGINES AND NOT FOR MODERN LS ENGINES.

Mr. Gasket Ultra-Seal Intake Manifold Gaskets
Mr. Gasket Ultra-Seal gasket sets are made of a cellulose/nitrile material that is less compressible for excellent sealing and durability. This material has an anti-stick coating, plus a silicone bead around each intake port, except where noted, for a tight, leakproof seal. These gaskets are the perfect solution for intake-sealing problems associated with the small sealing areas between ports, and the different expansion rates of intake manifolds and cylinder heads. The choice of champions, these sets come complete with all necessary seals and can be trimmed to fit modified ports where needed.
