VINTAGE PENN SPINFISHER 700 “GREENIE” SPINNING REEL FISHING REEL
The Vintage Penn Spinfisher 700 “Greenie” is a highly iconic, heavy-duty saltwater spinning reel first introduced by Penn in the early 1960s. Instantly recognizable by its baked mint-green enamel finish and matching green anodized aluminum spool, it earned the nickname “Greenie” during an era when most competing reels were strictly black or gray. Manufactured entirely in the USA, these reels are celebrated today by collectors and surf-casters alike as absolute workhorses built to last lifetimes.
