APPLICATIONS:

This is an excellent casting rod for throwing anchovies, sardines and small lures. I would fish 15 to 20 pound test line with a small to medium size spinning reel up to a Penn Spinfisher 650 or 750 size reel. Great for light saltwater fishing for albacore, bonito, bass, barracuda, cobia, yellowtail and shallow water rock cod fishing. Or you can use it for medium to heavy freshwater fishing for big bass, catfish, salmon, stripers and sturgeon. This rod works really good for throwing plastics and other small lures. This is a classic, vintage Fenwick rod that is built to last and is made with the best quality components. They don’t make fishing rods like this one anymore!
