All 3 reels have been completely disassembled,cleaned and serviced on December 20, 2017. They all have new “Smoothie” type drag washers and new hard fiber washers under the main gear installed in them. All 3 reels have been upgraded with stainless steel bearing caps and stainless steel eccentric knobs. The Newell C338-5 and the Newell S229-5 reels are upgraded with brand new black anodized aluminum Tiburon rod clamps. These are very nice reconditioned and refurbished Newell reels that are ready to catch big fish one after the other. Tight lines and good fishing.
