This reel reminds me of the Penn Jigmaster, my favorite reel when I was growing up. However, it’s like no Jigmaster I would have ever dreamed of.

This reel is the narrow version of the model 541 and my personal favorite. It is a new breed of reel designed specifically for the thinner high test Spectra type lines – you don’t need a larger reel with these new lines. You will want this reel if you like to cast a great distance and fish with Spectra line (as you can see I’ve fall in love!).
