APPLICATIONS:

The Penn International 975 Baitcast reel is very versatile. You can fish anything form 12 to 25 pound test line on this reel. You can use this reel for trolling for lake trout and salmon to catching school sized tuna. Excellent for catching pretty much anything in freshwater including bass, catfish, panfish, stripers, walleye and large trout. In saltwater this reel is great for bottom fishing for cod, grouper and snapper. You can cast for bass, barracuda, bonita, dorado and yellowtail. Very smooth working reel that gets up to 12 pounds of drag and retrieves 20 inches of line per crank. This reel is awesome! But of course, it is a Penn International !
