Here we have some Newell tension washers Newell part number 3-14. These are the washers that go between the drag lock washer and the star drag wheel underneath the star drag wheel and between the star drag wheel and the handle washer on top of the star drag wheel. The Newell schematics show that you need 3 of them for your Newell reel but I have found that 2 of them is more than adequate in most cases. You will be getting 2 of these washers for one price.
