These Newell Support Posts can also be used to make your Penn Jigmaster 500 reel narrower converting your stock Penn Jigmaster into the narrow version of the Jigmaster, the Jigmaster, Jr. which is a very popular reel, however Penn does not make it anymore. You can also make your Newell 338 and 344 reel narrower converting them to a narrower reel. These reels can be used for barracuda, bass, bonito, catfish, cobia, dorado, halibut, kingfish, lingcod, muskie, northern pike, redfish, sailfish, stripers and yellowfin tuna.
