This set of Newell fiber friction drag washers includes 15 drag washers all together. You get 15 washers all together. These drag washers are for the Newell 500 and the Newell 600 Series fishing reels.
The Newell 500 Series fishing reels take 3 drag washers and have a 3 stack drag system, so you can replace the drag washers in 5 of the Newell 500 Series fishing reels.
The Newell 600 Series fishing reels take 5 drag washers and have a 5 stack drag system, so you can replace the drag washers in 3 of the Newell 600 Series fishing reels.
These fiber drag washers have been treated with a compound which seals out water and has a rust inhibitor to prevent corrosion. It has a melting point above 450 degrees fahrenheit. Do not wash with any solvent. Ready-To-Use as is. Compound will last the life of the drag.
