NEWELL 440/533 KIT WITH BLACK TIBURON FRAME AND NEWELL ALUMINUM SPOOL, NEW
FEATURES TIBURON FRAME:
This is a very rare custom black anodized Tiburon Engineering N533/440 topless reel frame for a Newell 533 or 440 saltwater conventional fishing reel!
This black frame will work on any 400 or 500 series Newell in conjunction with a 440/533 spool made by either Tiburon or Newell.
This topless frame will not only align the bearings for better freespool, but it provides rigidity and piece of mind when you compare it with the “piece-frame” design of original Newells. Removing the need for a top crossbar allows you to thumb the spool better for both casting and live-bait fishing!
This black frame will work with various generations of Newell 400 and 500 series reels because all you need are the outer sideplate screws (which will be provided in the kit) to affix the sideplates to the frame!
You will still use the inner and outer rings, but only the outer ring screws will thread into the frame.
This black N533/440 frame will also come with a black aluminum clamp kit!
This frame was CNC machined from aircraft grade 6061 aluminum, and has been Type-II anodized to prevent corrosion from saltwater.
Please be sure to use marine grease and/or Corrosion-X on all the inner rings and screws/screw threads prior to installation!
FEATURES NEWELL SPOOL:
This is a brand new aluminum spool that is super lightweight, free spools great and casts like a dream. It has the very strong ribbed design with a hardened stainless steel spool shaft. This spool holds 400 yards of 40 pound test line or 330 yards of 50 pound test line.
