NEWELL 300C “ALBACORE SPECIAL” 99 SIZE FISHING REEL, PRE-OWNED
FEATURES:
- One of the first Newell reels ever made. This reel was made in the 1960s before the “Blackies”.
- Extra large adjustable bearing caps on both sides
- Newell aluminum spool, support posts, reel base and speed clamp
- Upgraded with convertible 3 hole handle with red and yellow swirl torpedo knob
- Stainless steel bridge, yoke, eccentric and gears
- Stainless steel clicker
- This reel is the same size as the mid-size Penn Jigmaster 500 reel known as the “Albacore Special” or Penn 99
- The support posts have been reconditioned with new semi-gloss black Rustoleum paint. Name engraved Tommy is barely noticeable now. Looks better than the picture.
