This is a vintage Custom Made Roddy Jig Stick fishing rod that is great for fishing the iron or for bottom fishing. You can use 40 to 80 pound test line on a Penn 4/0 to Penn 9/0 size reel. A great extra heavy jig stick with tons of backbone for fishing for Billfish, Black Seabass, Grouper, Halibut, Tuna, Shark and Yellowtail or for any other fish that gets in your way.
