CUSTOM MADE NEWELL U-5 STAINLESS STEEL BEARING CAPS WITH U-2 O-RINGS COMPLETE, LOT OF 10 BEARING CAPS

This stainless steel bearing cap is a great replacement or an upgrade for your Newell fishing reel that comes with a plastic bearing cap on the clicker side or non-handle side. Replace that cheese ball plastic bearing cap with this precision machined stainless steel beauty. This bearing cap will come with a rubber o-ring to provide tension on the side plate so the bearing cap will not back out under pressure and will also maintain the proper adjustment of your spool for optimum free spool. You will still most likely need to use the shims that originally came with your Newell reel to properly center the spool.

Please note that this bearing cap WILL NOT WORK on later S-series reels made in Glendale after 2005 or any made by Valley MFG in Sun Valley or any other series of Newells such as the No Letter, P series, G series and Blackie reels. It will work on the other Newell C and S series reels that have the plastic adjustable bearing cap on the clicker side only that has no adjustable bearing cap on the handle side present.
