The Century Armalite FT Big Cat 11-foot 2-piece spinning rod is a custom-configured powerhouse built on Century’s advanced carbon-aramid composite matrix. Because this is a specialty custom blank often hand-assembled to specific angler request details (signified by the premium cork handle layout and heavy-duty Fuji FPS-D20 20mm reel seat), it does not carry a rigid single line rating like a mass-produced rod.

Main Line Ratings
- Braided Main Line: 30 lb to 65 lb test. (The blank is highly responsive and progressive, allowing you to use high-strength braid to pull massive fish out of river currents or timber without snapping the rod blank).
- Monofilament Main Line: 20 lb to 35 lb test.
Additional Technical Limits
- Test Curve: Typically rated between a 4.0 lb to 5.0 lb test curve. This heavy rating means it takes significant force to bend the tip at a 90-degree angle to the butt, giving you immense lifting power over trophy Wels catfish, sturgeon, or blue catfish.
- Casting Weight / Lure Rating: Optimally casts weights from 3 oz to 7 oz (approximately 85g to 200g). It can easily punch out heavy lead sinkers or large chunk baits into fast-moving water.
The inclusion of the heavy-walled Fuji FPS-D20 reel seat is designed specifically to secure larger, high-capacity spinning reels (such as 8000 to 10000 sizes) packed with thick line without any twist or flex under load.
