BEARING CAP ASSEMBLY FOR PENN SENATOR 114H 6/0, 115L 9/0, 116A 10/0 & 116L 12/0 FISHING REELS PENN PART NO. 26-116
This is a bearing cap assembly for the Penn Special Senator 114H 6/0, the Penn Senator 115 9/0, the Penn Senator 116A 10/0 and the Penn Senator 116 12/0 fishing reels. Penn part number 26-116 includes the stainless steel cap and the stainless steel sealed ball bearing that fits inside the cap to make your Penn Senator fishing reel operate a lot more smoothly. These are new old stock OEM Penn parts that are discontinued and are no longer available from Penn Fishing Tackle Company. These will fit on the handle side and on the non-handle side of your Penn Senator fishing reel for the 1989 and newer reels.
26-116 Bearing Cap (Short)
26-116 push in cap from inside, comes with bearing, first design is 103-116 SHORT cap with 55-116 bearing inside.
This style worked fine in the 114H series Senators with the larger hole in the plate to hold the bearing cap, as well as the 115L 9/0 reels.
(Later spools, either Aluminum or Chrome over Bronze, with the later shaft design to interact with the ball bearing)
This will not fit in the older style plate or spool that used the screw in style bushing/bearing to the left in the photo below.
