Description
1994 UPPER DECK SERIES TWO BASEBALL CARDS SEALED BOX OF 36 PACKS WITH 12 CARDS PER PACK
A sealed 1994Upper Deck Series Two Baseball Box containing 36 packs with 12 cards per pack. Upper Deck created a completely different set of exclusive inserts specifically for retail shoppers, alongside a few nationwide cross-over inserts.
1. Retail-Exclusive Chase Cards
- Marantz All-Stars (1:6 Packs): This was the premier retail-exclusive insert set for Series Two. It features a clean, white-bordered design honoring top players from the 1993 season. The top player targets in this set are Ken Griffey Jr. (#M1), Frank Thomas (#M6), and Cal Ripken Jr. (#M8).
- G搶 All-Stars (1:6 Packs): Depending on whether you have a standard retail box or a specific retail store variant (like Walmart/K-Mart), you will pull these vibrant, foil-stamped star player cards.
2. Nationwide / Cross-Over Chase Cards
While you lose the regional SP previews, standard retail boxes still retained a couple of the major nationwide inserts:
- Mickey Mantle Baseball Heroes (1:20 Packs): You can still pull these incredibly popular holographic cards honoring the legendary New York Yankee.
- Predictor Cards (1:30 Packs): These interactive cards featured various statistical milestones (like Home Runs or RBIs) for specific players. If that player reached the milestone during the 1994 season, you could mail the card back to Upper Deck for a special prize set.
3. Key Base Card Pulls
Because it uses the identical base checklist, a retail box gives you the exact same odds of pulling the best base cards of the era:
- Alex Rodriguez Base Rookie (#298): The main target of any Series Two box opening.
- Billy Wagner Top Prospects (#533): A highly-coveted rookie card for the future elite closer.
