APPLICATIONS:
This is a very nice Vintage Pflueger Bond levelwind fishing reel for heavy freshwater fishing or light saltwater fishing using 10 to 17 pound test line.
The Pflueger Bond (with level wind) was first introduced in 1957. And it is almost identical in physical size to the Penn 9M. The first version had black sideplates. The second version (1959) had the red sideplates. It came with either the fresh water stand (model 2000) or the salt water stand (model 2002).
The gear ratio is 3.77-1, and line capacity is 300 yds of 15 lb monofilament.
