- Replaces the old style inaccurate “stamped” reel base: The new Newell REEL FRAME BASE positions the reel side plates absolutely parallel with consistent spacing dimension for positive spool alignment giving a perfect free spinning spool.
- Reduces reel frame distortion when fighting a heavy fish – gives a solid reel foundation for faultless performance.
- Molded from lightweight aircraft grade aluminum.
- Gives positive attachment between rod and reel and allows for desired up or down reel position. Reel now becomes an integral part of your rod. No more loose reels.
