This Newell BK-3 brake kit includes 7 washers all together including 3 polished stainless steel drag washers, 3 fiber friction washers and 1 hard fiber spacer washer that goes under the main gear. You get 7 washers all together in this NEWELL BK-3 BRAKE KIT. This drag washer set is for Newell 200, 300 and 400 Series fishing reels with the 3 stack drag system.

These fiber drag washers have been treated with a compound which seals out water and has a rust inhibitor to prevent corrosion. It has a melting point above 450 degrees fahrenheit. Do not wash with any solvent. Ready-To-Use as is. Compound will last the life of the drag.
These stainless steel brake discs eliminate the corrosion that develops between the drag washers and the brake disc that cause sticking and jerking of your drag system.
