This is a brand new in the box spool for the Penn Mariner 49 Reel. It is a stainless steel metal spool complete. This spool is a limited production very heavy duty model with extra reinforcement around the outer spool shaft on both sides as you can see from the pictures. This is a discontinued item and this part will not be re-manufactured by Penn. This item is used on multiple models. Replace that old cheese ball spool with a brand new top of the line stainless steel spool, the best quality metal spool that Penn has ever made.
