- One of the first Newell reels ever made. This reel was made in the 1960s before the “Blackies”.
- Extra large adjustable bearing caps on both sides
- Newell aluminum spool, support posts, reel base and speed clamp
- Upgraded with extra large counter-balanced handle with red torpedo knob
- Stainless steel bridge, yoke, eccentric and gears
- Stainless steel clicker
- This reel is the same size as the Penn Jigmaster 500 reel
- This reel has been totally reconditioned with new spool bearings and new drag washers.
