CUSTOM MADE NEWELL STAINLESS STEEL GEAR SLEEVE, NEW
This custom made stainless steel gear sleeve replaces the factory original bronze alloy gear sleeve. The bronze alloy gear sleeve is a much softer metal than the hardened stainless steel replacement that we have here at Berinson Fishing Tackle Company. The bronze alloy gear sleeve tends to wear out on the inside where it slips over the stainless steel post that is part of the bridge or at the end of it where the handle attaches. It is a huge improvement replacing the stock gear sleeve with this custom made stainless steel gear sleeve which is the heart of your Newell reel.
