You can match this rod up with a Penn Jigmaster 500 or a Shimano TLD15 reel spooled up with 25 to 30 pound test line. A great fishing rod for fishing on Pangas down in Mexico for Billfish, Dorado, Roosterfish, Jack Crevale and Pargo or you can go fishing stand-up style in the big boats.
