You can match this rod up with a Penn Jigmaster 500 or a Penn Special Senator 113H 4/0 reel spooled up with 25 to 40 pound test line. A great fishing rod for fishing on Pangas down in Mexico for Billfish, Dolphin fish,Roosterfish, Jack Crevale and Pargo or you can go fishing stand-up style in the big boats.
